COLLECTING WITH KIN

Certificates of Authenticity

Every original artwork and Fine Art Print acquired through KIN Contemporary is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity (COA), providing assurance of the artwork's authenticity, provenance and production details.

A Certificate of Authenticity is an important record that confirms the work has been acquired through KIN Contemporary and has been authorised by the artist.

We recommend retaining your certificate in a safe place, as it forms an important part of the artwork's provenance and may be required for insurance, valuation or future resale.

01

Original Artworks

Every original artwork is supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity issued by KIN Contemporary and authorised by the artist.

Each certificate includes:

  • Artist's name
  • Artwork title
  • Year of creation
  • Medium
  • Dimensions
  • Confirmation that the work is an original artwork
  • Artist's signature (where applicable)
  • Certificate number
  • Date of issue

The Certificate of Authenticity forms part of the artwork's permanent provenance and should always accompany the work if ownership changes.

02

Open Editions

Open Edition Fine Art Prints are produced exclusively by KIN Contemporary with the artist's authorisation using museum-quality archival materials and professional printing standards.

Each print is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity confirming its provenance and authenticity.

03

Museum-Quality Production

KIN Contemporary partners with leading professional Fine Art printers to produce museum-quality reproductions using archival pigment inks and premium conservation-grade papers and substrates.

Every print is produced to exceptional archival standards, ensuring outstanding colour accuracy, longevity and faithful reproduction of the artist's original work.

04

Provenance

Provenance plays an important role in the long-term value and history of an artwork.

Your Certificate of Authenticity provides an important record of ownership and should be retained with any purchase documentation.

If the artwork is sold or gifted in the future, we recommend that the Certificate of Authenticity accompanies the work to preserve its provenance.
